What is an aerator?
A spout aerator is designed to reduce the required flow of water, which will in turn reduce your water usage in the long run. Tap aerators have many tiny holes in them. This separates the water into different streams which allows air to mix with the water flow, creating a nice bubbly champagne flow of water and reducing the amount of water you need to use.

Tools you’ll need: Monkey Wrench Or 10mm Wrench, Plumbers Tape, 2mm Allen Key and a Dry Cloth.
Step 1. Turn Off Your Water and Remove Your Old Bath Spout.
Before you remove the old Bath Spout, you need to first turn off the water supply to the spout.
Tip: Make sure you install the bath spout once all the tiles installation & grouting is complete and has dried. This will avoid unnecessary damage to the spout.
Step 2. Unbox Your New Bath Spout.
- Once the old spout is removed you can unbox your new bathroom bath spout and remove all the accessories from the box.
- You will first need to open the bath spout by loosening the screws under the spout under an 2mm allen key.
- Tip: Hold the bath spout with the dry cloth to avoid scratches.
Step 3. Connect the Main Bolt.
- First you will need to connect the main half inch male connection to the wall female connection.
- This is the brass half inch connection that screws into the water outlet.
- Tip: Wrap this half inch screw in plumbers tape for a water tight seal.
Step 4. Connect The Mounting Plate.
- Now attach the mounting plate and connection screw as shown in the photo.
- The mounting plate is what will hold and support the the bath spout in place.
Step 5. Attach Bath Spout And Secure.
- Attach the bath spout into the two little rods to hold it in place.
- Once it has been pushed all the way in, you can fasten it with the two allen key screws from the bottom.
- Once this is secure and tight the instalaltion is complete. You can turn the water back on and check for any leaks.
- We do not recommend you use any strong chemicals to clean your new beautiful bath spout.
